"Toward the Mountains" (Painting as of August 19, 2021)

Here is my current work-in-progress as it looked on August 19th. That's the day I began really working on the sky, establishing basic shapes and colors.  My painting reference is a photo that I took during my last trip to Colorado, in June of 2018.
