Geranium (Digital Woodcut)

Last weekend, I took a couple of photos of geraniums on display outside the grocery store. I hadn't done much to the original image, apart from getting rid of the price tag on the planter (using iPhoto's retouch tool). This morning I chose the photo to use for a little demo of Painter software for a friend. When I used this photo to create a digital woodcut, I really liked the result, so I decided to keep it. Later, I did a little straightening and cropping in iPhoto, and this is the final product.
