I finished this painting yesterday. This is an attempt to capture my memories of watching the sun come up in Boulder, Colorado. Yesterday I worked on adding highlights and shadows, trying to create the sense of light beginning to reach the rocks as the sun rises. This is acrylic used as watermedia, painted on Aquabord 16 x 20 inches.
