I worked on this painting again this morning. My reference (posted here February 26) is a snapshot that I took on a family trip to Colorado in July of 1978. Today I made mostly minor modifications to the field and road in the foreground, but concentrated on creating a shadow on the mountain on the far right-hand side of the image. There are still some small things to fix, so I hope to finish this tomorrow.
