Yesterday's post was the photo that gave me the idea for my next painting. Today I am posting the photo reference I created from that photo. I used Painter to get rid of two cars, traffic signs, etc. The original photo was taken in June. In Colorado, it is not uncommon to see snow in the summer at high elevations. But inspired by the snow, I decided to add more, so I used Painter's tools to add more and create a winter scene. I liked the result, so I cropped the image one more time, and this is the result.
