Here are my two Snowmass paintings as they looked on October 19th. These are designed to be displayed either together or separately, as a panorama or diptyche (for art history buffs). I painted them on a table, just like this, side by side, to make sure the shapes aligned and the colors matched. A red sun has always been part of my mountain paintings. This time, I put the sun behind a cloud so its glow could be in both scenes. The painting on the left is "Above Snowmass Village" and the painting on the right is "Summer in Snowmass Village."
