I am re-posting this little animation to wish everyone happiness during the holiday season. I have made a number of these little "drawing videos" but I am particularly partial to this one, created in 2015 and reposted here in 2020. I think everyone could use a little extra happy this year, so I am bringing Squirrel back to help out.

Reposting: A Quick Little Menorah (Video from 2021)

This year I decided to post a menorah for every night of Chanukah.  I realized today that I am one short somehow, so I am reposting this little video that I made in 2021 on my iPad with the Procreate app.  This is "A Quick Little Menorah" that had to be quick because Chanukah came so soon after Thanksgiving and everything was rushed.  In 2021, I wrote: "Yikes! We are still eating Thanksgiving pie and it is already Chanukah!  Everything seems too rushed, and was thinking that maybe I don't have time to make a Chanukah video this year.  And then I thought, maybe I do.  So I opened my Procreate app on my iPad and drew this little menorah.  It's not fancy; I didn't even use a stylus.  But still it makes me happy and I am glad I did this. So if you want to see the candles light up, just press play."  Posting this on the last night, taking the time to quickly say Happy Chanukah to those celebrating, and to everyone, I wish you light, especially when light seems unlikely.

Back in 2016, I used the Brushes app on my iPad to create this little video.  (Brushes would capture a stroke-by-stroke video as you draw.) I reposted this in 2021, and am sharing it again today to say "Happy Chanukah" to those celebrating, and to everyone, share a little more light today.

I am reposting this from 2019, another menorah video.  I made this on my iPad using the Procreate app, which captures a video replay as you draw.  No particular reason to choose this menorah video to repost, except that I am partial to it, maybe because I was surprised at how well it turned out. Sending this out to wish those celebrating a Happy Chanukah, and to everyone, a little more light and small miracles today.

Yesterday I posted a little animation, which was a video replay created as a drew this menorah, using the Procreate app on my iPod.  Today I cleaned the drawing up a bit using Painter on my computer, and am sending it out to say Happy Chanukah to those celebrating, and to wish everyone a little more light and a little more hope.
