Turquoise Mountain Red Sun

This watermedia acrylic is one of my paintings inspired by the Colorado mountains. I have strong ties to family and friends from home, and Colorado is still a part of me. I love the natural composition of the mountains against the sky, and given a blank paper or canvas, I am inclined to begin by painting the curving lines of the mountains.
