Pencil Sketch for A Portrait as of May 25

I will be starting to paint another portrait soon, but sometimes I like to start with a pencil sketch. It is a good way to "learn" the face, and it can be helpful even if (sometimes especially if) the face is familiar. It helps me to draw what I see, not what I think I know or remember. Here is the pencil sketch as it looks tonight.
