Yesterday I went to the studio and worked for a while on this project, a heart-shaped box that I am covering with collage made of printed metallic ribbon. I have been pasting down small pieces of ribbon to define stripes which are going to be purple and orange. It is slow going, but less and less of the original candy logo is visible, and the pattern of stripes is beginning to appear. This still doesn't look like much, but I am hopeful because I have done a similar project and it turned out well.
