Here is a detail from my oil bar painting in progress. (I have been painting a landscape loosely based on a photo that I took at Bradley Palmer State Park in Topsfield, MA.) This is a closeup of the painting as it looked on August 24th, which was the day I took out (painted over) the tree on the left-hand side. In this view you can see that I repainted the background, creating some shapes to add interest. To be continued. . . .
