Today I went up to the studio at Porter Mill and worked for a while on this project. This heart-shaped box was once a candy box (Turtles, to be precise), but now I am using for a collage project. I am covering it with designs created from little pieces of printed metallic ribbon. I am still working on the top of the box, trying to fill in the small gaps in the purple and orange stripes. Then I will work on the gold border. The work is slow and tedious, but I am encouraged because I have done this before and it turned out well.
