This is the painting I have been working on this week, and I finally finished it this morning. I added another layer of white to the purple line of clouds. Then I added another layer of pink to the mountains and finally got the color to look the way I wanted it to. I did a little bit of detail work with some lines, and then it was done. This mountain landscape is done with acrylic paint used with water on watercolor paper (9 x 12 inches). This is part of a series of paintings I call "Mountain Daydreams" because they are painting from my imagination and memories of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
