I made this over the weekend while I was working on another project (my decoupage box). This is a black and white photographic image on a pink plaque with jute. This is only about three inches square, designed to be a Christmas ornament, but it can also be hung on the wall. (With a lot of them, you can make a family tree.) I painted the wood a soft pink, and wanted the jute to be gray with a pink cast, as a background for the black and white photo.
