Now that my studio is suddenly roomier (with 17 paintings moved out for a show at Galatea in Boston), I decided to straighten it up. This morning I came across a set of exercises and paintings that I did for an evening watercolor class that I took back in the summer of 1998. This is one of the first assignments, a still life in black and white. I can't remember if I was working with watercolor or with acrylics, so I am just saying "watermedia". Although the class concentrated on color, the first assignment was a still life setup in black and white.
