I started this drawing this afternoon, using fine-line Sharpie markers on a small piece of paper (6 inches square). There were morning glories in the little back yard when we lived in Chicago, and I think we had morning glories by the back fence in Kansas. I had already gotten pretty far with this drawing when I decided to look at some pictures. I didn't really change anything but decided to go with blue. It was fun to draw these flowers, but there are some mistakes, as you can see. I plan to clean the drawing up digitally in Painter. (Sharpie pens are pretty unforgiving because you can't erase and it can also be very, very hard to cover anything up either.)
