Rhododendron Buds and Snow

I am always surprised that the rhododendron leaves not only survive the Boston snows, but look tropical as soon as they emerge from the snow. If fact, they already budding, even though you can see that there is plenty of snow on the ground. I decided to use my digital camera to capture this intersection of winter and spring.
