Massachusetts Shoreline in Fog

Local meteorologists are apologizing for the weather for the coming weekend. It is already cold, overcast and almost misty. But I will seize this opportunity to post another photo from my excursion in the fog last Sunday. I took this picture with my phonecam, looking down on the beach from Route 127, just north of Beverly, MA, near Endicott College. Today I cropped the image just a bit to improve the composition. I like the way things look in the fog; the mist makes you look harder and see things differently. As a result, sometimes you see more clearly, not less.
