Swimming in Light

It has been really hot here, and today I finally had a chance to go swimming and cool off. Well, actually, I was floating rather than swimming, and enjoying myself by watching the late afternoon light hit the trees and the water. I wanted to take a picture of the beautiful abstract patterns the reflections made on the water, but I didn't have a camera handy. So later I cropped this image out of a photo I took several years ago of a motel swimming pool in Avalon, New Jersey, which may sound like an unlikely place to find art. But I think you can find art everywhere, if you pay attention. Next time you get in the swimming pool, keep your eyes open, and look.
