Staircase in the Alfama, Fantasy

This is the third and last version of this image. Tonight I used Painter IX's digital watercolor to modify my photo of the staircase in the Alfama. Although my inspiration was the muted pastel colors of the older Portuguese houses, I used brighter versions of the same colors to communicate my excitement at being in Lisbon. I even applied color to the laundry hanging on the line, turning it into part of the composition. Time to leave Lisbon, at least for a while. Ate logo, Lisboa!
