Gold in the Woods

This kind of scenery is fairly common here in Massachusetts, but that doesn't make it ordinary to me. I see this wooded area almost every day. Recently I walked by this scene in the late afternoon and the sunlight made the leaves look golden against the trees, so I decided to take this picture. Tonight I cropped the image to improve the composition.
