Yesterday I cut up an acrylic painting that I had started long ago and abandoned. I am going to make a set of small drawings out of it. I cut it into nine pieces, using a T-square. Whatever composition is already in each piece will be the starting point for the composition when I draw into each piece with conte crayon and pencil.
