Transformational Drawing Set 2 Number 4
Today I went to Red Brick and spent the time working on my series of small "transformational drawings." Here is one of the drawings I worked on today. In this one, much of the image comes from the original acrylic painting. The mountain in the large rectangle is really untouched. I added the horizontal and vertical lines with pencil and straight edge, and then began to draw into those areas with conte crayon. I am trying to derive most of my colors from the original painting, and those colors all remind me of the Colorado landscape.
