One Pink Peony

Today the weather was cool and overcast, and even though it looked like rain, I went to Long Hill Gardens with my daughter to walk the dog. It was a great idea because lots of plants are flowering (rhododendron, azaleas, even some iris). I took plenty of pictures with my phonecam. But this is my favorite, a single pink peony in the soft light of the overcast day. If you look closely, you can see the tiny blossoms of blue forget-me-nots poking through the leaves.
