Roses on the Fence (Posterized Photo)

Early this morning, I took a walk around the neighborhood, and saw beautiful roses on the fence, so I took several pictures with my phonecam. I liked the contrast of the roses and the pattern of the fence. Tonight I chose the best shot and cropped the image for the composition. Then I opened the image in Painter IX and posterized it to get the effect I wanted. Do you focus on the fence or do you see the flowers? Some people see a fence as a barrier or an obstacle; others see a fence as a great opportunity to plant roses.
