Early this morning, I went to the studio at Red Brick to work on this collage, which is made of patterned ribbon pasted onto a styrofoam tray. I have been making a narrow gold rim around the edges, and today I finally finished putting it all the way around the styrofoam tray. That was the most difficult part of this project, and I am glad to be done with that task! Then I started working on the outside edges of the tray; they are not visible in this photo, but they will be visible when this piece is hung on the wall. To be continued. . .
