Today I went to Red Brick Studios to work on this project. I am making a design on the back of a styrofoam tray, a collage from pieces of ribbon printed with various patterns. (I already finished the collage on the other side of the tray, three roses in a vase.) Today I worked on the red areas on the right and left sides. I want to finish those areas first because I am afraid of running out of red ribbon before I finish. I am trying to find pieces of ribbon that have only red or red with a bit of gold on them, which is hard to do and slow going. But I could see some progress by the time I needed to pack up and go home.
