Lake Placid Necklace with Black and Purple Wooden Beads (Originally uploaded by randubnick)
This is another one of the necklaces I made during a September trip to Lake Placid. There was a great bead store downtown, right across from the hotel. I made four necklaces one rainy afternoon, all of them using wooden beads. I think I was inspired by all the Adirondack crafts in the area. Last weekend I took the necklaces to show at Open Studios, and I photographed them before the event opened.
