Textures in the Snow (Originally uploaded by randubnick)
This is a another photo from a walk at Long Hill Gardens last Monday. What I was most interested in was the contrasting textures made by the trees, branches, and brambles, as well as the backlighting of the sky. What I like best about snow is that it makes you see things you might otherwise overlook. Tonight I cropped the image just a bit to get this composition.
