White Magnolias (Digital Woodcut)

I used my Painter program to create this digital woodcut from the photo that I posted here yesterday. I took the photo of white magnolias during a recent walk at Long Hill Gardens, here in Beverly, MA. I tried to use a subtle black outline to emphasize the graceful shapes of the branches. I also created a posterized version of the original photo, and I plan to post that tomorrow.
