This is another little digital mosaic that I made with my Painter program tonight. Because I am trying to learn the technique and mechanics of making digital mosaics, I am concentrating on familiar subject matter. I grew up in Colorado, and the Rocky Mountains are always in my mind's eye (and in my heart)!  Tonight I thought I would try to capture the landscape I grew up with (in Pueblo, Colorado): the view of blue mountains in the distance, the dry dusty pink earth, and the sparse sage green vegetation.
