Path and Footbridge (Oil Bar Painting Day 3)

This is an oil bar painting (in progress) of a path and footbridge in Durham, New Hampshire, from a photo that I took on the UNH campus. I have been posting day-to-day progress on this painting, so this is how it looked on December 30, which was Day 3. I started painting in the foliage, trying to create depth and differentiate areas with color and light. Even though I am using my photograph as a reference, I am making changes, putting trees in and taking trees out as I please.
