Under the Chestnut Tree

But here's another try. Tonight I cropped the original photograph to get this composition. You can get a glimpse of the house through the leaves.

I know what you mean. We have a monsterous sycamore tree here in town, maybe one of the largest in the state, and it's impossible to photograph it in a way that shows its size. I can't get back far enough to get the whole tree in one frame because it's in town. What I know is how dizzy I feel when I look up into it's branches. It would take 3-4 people or more to encircle the trunk with their arms. Words seem to convey its size more than images but it's worth it (and fun) to keep trying. From this photo, I defintely get the feeling of shelter.
