Here is another image created from my recent photograph of red and yellow leaves. This one is a digital woodcut that I made using my Painter program. It took a number of tries to get the right amount of black. The image was too complicated, so I reduced the number of colors, and that helped. Afterwards, I decided I wanted to see more yellow, so I put in some color overlay using the magic wand tool, one tiny area at a time.
