Today I finally got back to this project, a heart-shaped box that I am covering with collage and decoupage created from printed metallic ribbons. I am still working on the inside wall of the box, which I am covering with ribbon printed in pinks, blues, and greens. (In this photo, the inside of the box top is also visible.) This is slow going, but I can see progress. Besides, I like the process; it's kind of like a meditation. Just as in life, if I can get quiet, if I can stop and think, it is easier to see how all the pieces can fit together.
