First of May at Long Hill (Oil Bar Painting as of May 24, 2013)

I worked on this painting again this morning. I am using oil bars on canvas, and a reference photo, which is a picture I took at Long Hill Gardens on May 1. Today I added contrast to the foliage on the left, modified the shapes of the small bushes under the white tree, added detail to the tree branches in the upper right part of the canvas, and added just the suggestion of a path beyond the gate. There are still some things I want to change, but the composition is pretty much set.
