Here is my oil bar painting as it looked yesterday, July 31, 2013. (I am a day behind in my posts at this point.) This is based on a photograph that I took at Bradley Palmer State Park (posted here June 14. Yesterday I modified the shapes along the shoreline, and also made corresponding changes in the reflections in the water. To do this, I turn the painting and the photo upside-down as well as sideways, and then right-side up again. I also worked on the right hand side of the canvas, and made the water a bit darker.
