I have been painting this scene at Bradley Palmer State Park, based on a photo that I took there near the river, close to the Willowdale Estate. (The photo is posted here on June 14, 2013.) So this is my painting as it looked on August 10 (Saturday). I spent most of my time painting the leaves of the tree in the foreground, on the right. The leaves were starting to look the way I want them to look, so I was pretty happy, and even took a few closeup shots. Maybe I will post one of them tomorrow.
