Here's my work-in-progress as it look last Saturday, August 17th. I am using oil bars to paint this landscape, based on a photo that I took at Bradley Palmer State Park, in Topsfield, MA. (My reference photo is posted here on June 14.) Last Saturday I worked on adding texture and light to the foliage, and also worked on the background area on the left side of the canvas. At that point, I was making small changes because I really thought I was almost finished with the painting. (Turns out I was wrong. To be continued. . . .)
