I got 2014 off to a good start by working on this painting on New Year's Day. At that point, the painting was very close to finished. So I continued to add definition to some of the lines, and added a bit of light to the leaves. This oil bar painting is loosely based on one of my photos (posted here on Dec. 1, 2013).
