Colorado Colors (Acrylic Water Media)
This week, I am working on a few mountain landscapes, painted with acrylics used as water media. I am working from imagination and memories of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, my home state. Here is one that I finished yesterday. There wasn't much to do; I had decided that there wasn't quite enough contrast between the sky and the outline of the mountains, so I used an opaque white wash to lighten the sky in a few places. Now it is done.
