This is a pencil sketch for a project that I started today, an illustration for a recipe that will be posted on our food blog. (This is for my recipe for beet borscht, which is the most fantastic color!) When I sat down to draw this afternoon, I already had the idea worked out, but the execution was still a challenge. As usual, trying to get the ellipses to behave was the hardest part. To be continued. . .
