Here is the latest version of my oil bar painting. (My reference is one of my photos, posted here on August 14.) I worked on the painting this morning and it is still very much a work in progress. Yesterday I roughed in a dark background and I was itching to neaten up all the edges. But I knew I needed to wait for the paint to dry a bit. So I worked on the color scheme and placement of the tiny light green leaves and the branches. To be continued. . .
