This image started with a photo that I took in April of 2010 of the magnolia tree in my yard. Today I cropped this image out of the original photo and posterized it. Then I printed out an 8 x 10 version of it. I am going to use it as a reference photo for an oil bar painting that I am going to start working on tomorrow.
