Cosmos, Nasturtiums, and Marigolds (Long Hill Gardens)

Every week we pick up our farm share from The Food Project, our *CSA. Our pickup location is Long Hill Gardens (here in Beverly, MA), in the fields at the front of the estate. This week, I took a little walk and saw this amazing garden. These flowers were growing right outside the little yellow farmhouse, near the fields, far from the formal gardens and the main house on the estate. Long Hill (AKA Sedgwick Gardens) was once a private estate, but now the property is owned by the Trustees of the Reservation. I loved the combination of these flowers, on the old-fashioned side, nothing exotic. I liked the way they looked against the yellow farmhouse, so I took some pictures.
