On the High Line, NYC (Posterized Photo)

This week I took the train down to New York City to visit family. I left on Tuesday and returned on Thursday, possibly the world's shortest vacation. But I had a lot of fun in a short time. We walked on the High Line, a nature trail/"linear park" build on an old elevated railway track on the West Side. It starts in midtown and goes down to the village. This was a whole new way to see New York City. This photo gives you a sense of what it feels like to walk among the trees, a couple of stories above the ground. I used Painter to posterize the photo, enough to add some fantastical colors. I wanted it to look a little bit improbable and magical because that is what it is.
