Something New on the Horizon (Posterized Photo)

On the way home from my recent quick trip to New York, I took this picture of the skyline through the window of the train. I used Painter to create this posterized version of the photo. If you look closely, you can see that there is something new on the horizon, the silhouette of the new Freedom Tower, standing where the Twin Towers used to be. I am still sad that those towers are gone, but glad there is something new on the horizon. So that's how we move through time from one year to the next, remembering the past but moving forward.
