Here is my codfish project as it looked yesterday. (Alternate title: Codfish on Hardwood Floor. ) I am decorating this wooden codfish for the Marblehead Arts Fest. (Fifty area artists are decorating the same fish cutout.) Yesterday it was time to start pasting down bright pink circles. I had already done a "digital dress rehearsal" to work out the placement: I made digital "markings" on a photo of my fish, using Painter's digital pastel. (See yesterday's post.) Even though I was using my digital trial run as a guide, it made me nervous to start pasting the pieces down. But I am happy with the way the placement. To be continued. . . .
