This is my codfish project as it looked yesterday morning after I worked on it. (Alternate title: Codfish on the Back Porch.) I am decorating this wooden fish cutout for the Marblehead Arts Festival. (Fifty area artists are doing this; the codfish will be displayed and then auctioned off this summer.) Yesterday I added gold accents to the fins. I also suggested the pattern of scales with gold paint and a piece of net. And I finally decided to give this poor codfish a mouth. To be continued. . . .
