I am getting started on an illustration for a recipe, to be published on our food blog.* Grandma Aptaker was my husband's grandmother and I used to watch her cook and write down the recipes. This is a recipe for chocolate chip slices, which look like mandelbrot or biscotti. Yesterday I did a quick sketch on a small piece of paper. This morning I got up early and started drawing for the real thing. This is the layout I want.
